You Are God’s Body

During the second world war a beautiful statue of Jesus in France was badly damaged. The villagers gathered the broken pieces of the statue and repaired it, but they never found the hands. So they had a bronze plaque attached to the statue engraved with these words, “I have no hands but your hands.” “One day a visitor saw the repaired statue of Christ, without hands, and wrote a poem. ‘I have no hands but your hands, to do My work today. I have no feet but your feet, to lead souls on the way. I have no tongue but your tongue to tell them how I died. I have no help but your help, to bring them to God’s side….YOU ARE HIS BODY NOW!” ——An excerpt from T. l. Osborn’s book, “You Are God’s Best”
