Two nice young men came to my door the other day, and of course, I asked them if they were Christians. When they said yes, I immediately rushed to give them my card with my website on it. As I was getting the card, I went by the refrigerator and pulled out 2 cold waters for them. It’s so awesome when God just automatically speaks to you. They were so appreciative because it was hot outside. That spontaneous giving made me feel tremendous. It happened in an instant but the reward was so gratifying. It made me think that we don’t do enough of that. I think years ago people were more friendly and open and caring. Nowadays people are so rushed and busy that they hardly have time to pay attention to other people. We all want to be more caring and loving. Let’s be more open to those around us and lend a helping hand when needed. We’ll feel absolutely great when we do.
