Brett Phillips, an outfielder for Tampa Bay, is a Christian. Over the weekend he hit the winning base hit in game four of the World Series. He gave the glory to God. I so liked what he has said about playing baseball. “I play because of Him and I play for Him,” Phillips said. “And I play just because He’s blessed me with the gifts and the opportunity, not me. I’ve got nothing to do with it.” How beautiful!
