“Nothing can replace a daily time spent alone with God in prayer. We can also be in an attitude of prayer throughout the day — sitting in a car or at our desk, working in the kitchen, even talking with someone on the phone.”– – – Billy Graham
God Answers
“Each prayer is a time capsule. You never know when or where or how God is going to answer it, but He will answer it.” – – – Pastor Mark Batterson
The Power In Us
“As God’s power manifests in you, it makes you a master of your circumstances. It provides a lift to the soul and assures us that the Word of God is absolutely true for us now. Paul said, “Be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me” (Acts 27:25). He said this in the middle of a life-threatening storm at sea. Do you look for God to manifest Himself in you or elsewhere? Today’s Thought: God’s power does more than I can ask or think, but it’s always according to the power that works in me.” ——Pastor Tim Davidson

Go To God For Answers
“When you encounter a problem, seek the Lord through the Word and in prayer and ask Him what the solution is….Go to the Lord and find out exactly what He wants you to do. Don’t decide your course of action and then ask God to bless your plans. Go to Him and say, “Lord, what are Your plans?” His plans are already blessed. If you follow them, your victory is guaranteed.” ——An excerpt From Faith to Faith Daily Devotional by Kenneth Copeland
To God Be The Glory
Brett Phillips, an outfielder for Tampa Bay, is a Christian. Over the weekend he hit the winning base hit in game four of the World Series. He gave the glory to God. I so liked what he has said about playing baseball. “I play because of Him and I play for Him,” Phillips said. “And I play just because He’s blessed me with the gifts and the opportunity, not me. I’ve got nothing to do with it.” How beautiful!
Forgive
“Nothing stirs God’s heart more than a humble heart and a merciful spirit. God responds to mercy, because it is through compassion that we fully come to know Him. This is the defining quality of a true follower of Christ. We are never closer to the heart of God than when we are forgiving someone. And we are never farther from it than when we are holding a grudge.” —–Nicky Cruz, Evangelist
Loving God
“Lord, I passionately love you and I’m bonded to you, for now you’ve become my power! You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet, like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress, my mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape, my tower of rescue where none can reach me. My secret strength and shield around me, you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause. All I need to do is to call to You, the Praiseworthy God. When I do, I’m safe and sound in You.” ——-Psalm 18:1-3, The Passion Translation
He’ll Remove Your Burden
“As a camel kneels before his master to have him remove his burden, so kneel and let the Master take your burden.” ——-Corrie ten Boom
Small Steps Matter
“The impossible often begins with one small step. When God wanted to create Adam, He began with a handful of dust. Moses was sent to challenge Pharaoh with a walking stick;…Jesus fed the multitudes with a couple of fish and five loaves of bread. When He sent David to conquer a giant, the shepherd didn’t take a cannon; he picked up five small stones….Do you think your ideas are too small to succeed? Give them to God and let Him anoint you for the impossible!” ——An excerpt from Mike Evan’s Daily Devotional
