There is a webcam that is set up viewing an eagle’s nest 24/7 in Decorah, Iowa. A few months ago the male and female eagle built the nest. Then she laid the eggs, and you could watch them hatch just days ago. It’s all a wonder of nature and absolutely fascinating, but the most remarkable segment is Mama feeding her babies. It so reminds me how helpless we are and how we need to depend on Our Father, El Shaddai. It’s Hebrew and means the Breasted One, signifying that God is the Strong Nourisher and the Strength Giver. When Mama eagle is finished, she covers them, just like Our Father covers us and hides us under the shadow of His wings (Psalm 17:8).
