I was talking to someone yesterday who had been delivered from alcoholism years ago.  I had asked him what caused him to begin drinking in the first place, and he said that it was his own bad choices.  He never blamed anyone or anything.  I thought how amazingly honest he was, because many people won’t admit that.  I then found an article in the Word of Faith Magazine about how people want to blame God when things go wrong.  Usually people will also point out the adversities in their life as the cause of their shortcomings or addictions.  The truth of the matter is that if we truly believe God loves us, we won’t blame him for anything bad that happens in our life.  We never should compromise the goodness of God because God loves us so much, He delivers us from any and all bad situations.  God is not the cause of our problems, He’s the ANSWER.
