God Is Able

“Can you imagine what it would be like to have the richest measure of the divine presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God himself? I can! That’s the glory. That’s the totality of God’s presence showing up in our lives and I want it!… The greatest moves of God in the world have come in the darkest of days. They’ve come when men’s hearts were like ice cubes….You may not feel like God’s glory can shine through someone as un-glorious as you, but He can. For in the closing words of Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3: 20–21 he says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! That verse plainly says GOD IS ABLE! He not only wants to show Himself through you and me, He is able! You couldn’t do it. I couldn’t do it. A thousand of of us couldn’t do it, but God is able.” —-An excerpt from Ken and Gloria Copeland’s Youth Devotional “Load Up”
