When I was in Texas last week waiting in the car, I saw a sign with big letters that spelled he word SUPER. It was supposed to be light up but instead all it did was flicker with a tiny light every few seconds. Immediately the Lord said to me that’s the way some Christians are. They may have been what we might call a SUPER Christian, but for all practical purposes now their flame or fire has almost been extinguished. Does that describe you? Or are you burning brightly for the Lord for all to see? One thing that makes my light shine is spending time with Him everyday in His loving embrace, just loving on Him and letting Him love on me. A beautiful spirit of intimacy with Our Bridegroom will develop. All day long I just remember that He’s holding me in His awesome embrace. That’s what it says in Song of Solomon 2:6, “His left hand is under my head, and His right hand embraces me.”
