Pastor Joel Osteen taught yesterday on knowing we are loved. Some people only think that God loves them instead of knowing that He loves them. There’s nothing you can do to earn God’s love, and there’s nothing you can do to make Him love you less. John, the writer of the Gospel, was so confident of Jesus’ love for him, he referred to himself in his gospel as “the disciple whom Jesus loved”. It pleases God when we know we are dearly loved by Him. We are His favorite child. When we see ourself as His favorite, we’ll go to Him with confidence, we’ll pray bold prayers, and we’ll ask Him for our dreams. 1 John 4 tells us about His real love for us.
