“‘But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…’—-Malachi 4:2. One day I was meditating on the Word, when suddenly this Scripture rose up in me. I got to thinking, Who is the “Sun of righteousness”? Jesus! Then I thought, Glory to God! He arose with healing in His wings. I asked the Lord, “Why is healing in His wings, and how do I get under those wings?” I remembered Psalm 91:1-4 AMP: He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust. For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge. You find refuge under God’s wings when you say, “Thank God for Jesus! He’s my refuge, my fortress, my healer, and my Savior.” Once you’ve confessed Jesus as Lord, you’re under His wings full of healing. So just reach out and grab hold! Confession: Jesus, my God, my healer, my refuge, my fortress. He arose with healing in His wings, and I take refuge under those wings. I put my trust in the Sun of righteousness and His healing power.” ——-An excerpt from “365 Days of Healing” by Pastor Mark Brazee
