Mindy Corporon’s son and father were killed in a senseless act of violence in Kansas City this past weekend.  She was on the Today Show yesterday and her message was so touching.  On the internet, ABC News titled it, “A Powerful Message of Love and Faith”.  She said she was lifted by her belief in Christ.  She then continued with these moving words.  “I have a sense of peace about me that they’re in heaven.  Literally when I saw my father lying there, I heard God say, “He’s in heaven”.  It was horrific but comforting… Somehow God and my life and my family and our friends have prepared me for this, so I’m uplifted by that.  I have my moments, but I’m uplifted by the fact that they’re in heaven.”
